Brief History of Khao Yai National Park

Khao Yai National Park is Thailand’s first national park, established in 1962. It spans over 2,000 square kilometers across four provinces: Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachinburi, Saraburi, and Nakhon Nayok. Rich in biodiversity, it is home to numerous endangered species and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005.

  • Pickup from Suvarnabhumi Airport around 12:00 PM

Tour Stops

  1. Haew Narok Waterfall

The tallest waterfall in Khao Yai with a dramatic three-tier drop. The name “Narok” (hell) originates from a tragic legend involving wild elephants falling into the gorge.

  1. Visitor Center + Nature Trail #1

Easy 1.2 km trail; takes about 45 minutes to complete. Great for beginners.

  1. Pha Kluai Mai Campsite + Nature Trail #2

A 3 km trail through streams and dense forest; approximately 3 hours trek. No guide needed.

  1. Haew Suwat Waterfall

A picturesque waterfall featured in several films, surrounded by lush jungle.

  1. Pha Diao Dai Viewpoint

A romantic cliff with panoramic mountain views—perfect for sunset photos.

  1. Pha Trom Jai Viewpoint

A quiet viewpoint with dreamy fog in the rainy season and a serene atmosphere.
